Dr. Jesse J. Giddens Jr. founded Destiny Christian Center Inc., in Barstow, California in 1999 and later moved to Victorville in 2003. He humbly serves as Senior Pastor of a multicultural interdenominational body of believers, which began with eight members, now serving more than 2,000 and growing.

 

As military veteran having served 5 years in the United States Army; including campaigns in Saudi Arabia/Iraq Desert Storm, Dr. Giddens continues to demonstrate his commitment to helping others serving in the nonprofit for more than 20 years and has lead numerous humanitarian efforts.  Dr. Giddens founded and currently serves as the CEO of WOW Ministries an evangelistic association that reaches across the world with humanitarian efforts to feed, clothe and house children in the states and abroad.

 

In addition, Dr. Giddens has adopted two local area high schools where he and his team are dedicated to mentoring more than 7,000 youth each year, guiding them toward higher education and overall success in life.  He further demonstrates his commitment to this mission by providing numerous scholarships, ensuring their opportunity for achievement.

 

Dr. Giddens earned his Bachelors of Biblical Science, Masters of Divinity, and lastly, his Doctorate of Ministry Degree from Minnesota Graduate School of Theology.  He currently serves as President of the Sonship School of Ministry located in Victorville, and also as Presbyter of Covenant Connections International, a group of 400 church leaders worldwide. Dr. Giddens resides in Victorville, CA with Halene, his lovely wife of 28 years and they have two children Brittney and Jonathan.
